Same-day medical letter, required to support the application or renewal process for a Blue Badge.
Availability: UK Only:
If you or your child has a disability or health condition that meets eligibility requirements for a Blue Badge, you may require a medical letter to support the application process for a new badge or a renewal (usually every 3 years).
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day medical letter that will confirm details of your disability or health condition, as well as the reasons why you require a Blue Badge. No appointment is needed — simply apply online.
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:
Your name and date of birth.
Your medical disability or health condition and how it affects you.
Signature and authorisation by one of our GMC-registered UK doctors.
Contact details of ZoomDoc Health with a QR code enabling a verification check.
Upload by 9pm for same-day service. This should include a 30 second — 1 minute video describing your condition and why you require a blue badge.
Our doctors will look over the evidence you provide.
You'll receive an email with your letter, with a QR code so they can be verified and accepted across the UK.
Please note: Applications or renewals for a Blue Badge can be made via your local council or at gov.uk. Please check with your local council prior to purchasing your medical letter for a Blue Badge to ensure it meets your local council's exact requirements. Provision of a medical letter from our Doctors does not guarantee that your local authority blue badge department will also confirm your applicability.
To allow us to assess your condition and issue a medical letter, we will require the following information:
A photo of your passport or driving license
Your medical disability or health condition
A 30-second to 1-minute video explaining how your disability affects you
Your digital Summary Care Record or a doctor's letter confirming your medical disability
Details of your regular NHS GP (if you have one)
